SONGWRITER'S WORKSHOP

T.W. Hale, hit Nashville songwriter, (Billy Ray Cyrus, Randy Travis, George Jones & more -see bio below) will lead a workshop for aspiring songwriters on Friday & Saturday, February 10-11, 2023 at the Commodore Hotel in Linden, TN.  Spots are very limited - which means this small group of artists will receive precious, quality time with this published songwriter.   The workshop includes:

• Meet & Greet

• Guitar Pull

• Sessions on Crafting a Song

• Lyric writing

• Music writing

• Q & A sessions on songwriting best practices

• T.W. and Tom will review songs and demos.  Bring your instrument and recordings! (on phone or cd;limit 2 per person)

 

Workshop - $35 per person, includes Saturday Lunch.  Special hotel room rate of $95/night for participants.

Friday, Feb. 10

3-5 p.m. - Check-in Commodore Hotel in Linden,TN

5-6:30 p.m. - Happy Hour and meet and greet in Commodore Speakeasy

6:30 - 8 p.m. - Dinner in Commodore Music Café

8p.m. until ? -  Guitar pull in Commodore Speakeasy

 

Saturday, Feb. 11

9 a.m. - 10 a.m. - Breakfast in Commodore Music Café

10a.m. - 12 p.m. - Songwriter Workshop

12-1 p.m. - Lunch (for Songwriters & Judges only) in Commodore Music Café

1-3 p.m. - Songwriter workshop, session 2, Commodore Speakeasy

3-4 p.m. Break

4 - 8 p.m. Songwriters perform two songs in Qualifying Round competition , Commodore Music Café. 

8 p.m.  Grand Finale - T.W. performs some of his songs for us!

T.W. Hale has had songs recorded by artists Reba McEntire (Why Haven’t I Heard From You), George Jones (Smack Dab In The Middle of Love), Billy Ray Cyrus (Back To Memphis), Gene Watson (Snake In The House), Joe Diffie (A Night To Remember), Randy Travis (I’ll Be Right Here Loving You), Martina McBride, Trace Adkins, Rhett Akins, Jeffrey Steele and bluegrass artists Del McCoury and David Parmley among others.

T.W. was featured on a critically acclaimed Discovery Channel episode of the show “The Travelers” where he wrote and produced the hosts of the show on their single “Meant To Be”. His producing talents have been instrumental in the signings of artists Danni Leigh to Decca Records/Nashville and Dalia Garcia to Polygram Latino/Mexico, and he is producing a series of children’s sing-a-long audio and video projects.
