Accommodations
The Commodore Hotel and many of the individual rooms are named for Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry, a naval officer, hero of the War of 1812, and namesake of Perry County - designated by the Tennessee General Assembly on Nov. 14, 1819. A replica of his famous “Don’t give up the ship” battle flag hangs as a welcoming banner in the entrance of the Commodore.
