Ten or twenty Singer-Songwriters will play their best songs to compete for a chance to perform at the famous Bluebird Café in Nashville. Enjoy our dinner menu and Valentine specials while listening to up-and-coming musicians. Grand Finale is a performance by hit songwriter T.W. Hale.

About the event

The Commodore's intimate atmosphere is the perfect place to listen to great live music from some up -and-coming musicians and meet some successful Nashville "music biz" people during this special, once-a-year event.

Ten or more songwriters will perform their best songs as part of Tennessee's Annual Songwriters Week Sweepstakes. Tonight's winner advance and play at the Franklin Theater in Franklin, TN in the next few weeks . The winner of the Franklin event will advance to the Final performance at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.

Special Valentine’s menu includes such gourmet items as: Ribeye w/ Cherry Brandy sauce, Chicken Florentine, Strawberry Balsamic glazed Salmon, or Southern favorites like Buttermilk-Fried Chicken, and more. Top off your night with our famous homemade Cheesecake.

VIPs in attendance will be: T.W. Hale, publlished Nashville hit songwriter who's penned tunes for Reba McEntire, George Jones, Billy Ray Cyrus, Randy Travis and more! Debra Wellborn, Song-plugger and professional actress; Tom Harding, writer, producer and engineer who has worked on projects for Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard and Olivia Newton-John, to name a few. Jacob Rice, Songwriter who WON this contest last year - Commodore's Qualifying Round, Franklin round, and played at the Bluebird Cafe. Jacob tours nationally and continues to write and pitch songs in Nashville.

Grand Finale Saturday: T.W. Hale will perform his songs for us! Sharing his stories of writing the tunes, T.W. will then play these songs (and you'll recognize some of them!).
